Limestone Floor Cleaning and Restoration Market Bosworth
We worked our magic on this Limestone floor in Market Bosworth, Nuneaton it has now been transformed back to its former glory.
The lovely lady of the house, was having a complete kitchen re-vamp new colour scheme and décor but she felt that the condition of the Limestone floor was letting the whole design down. tired of the floor and unsure whether to replace the tiles or deep clean and seal she reached out to the team at Aqua Fresh to discuss available options.
We carried out our survey and carried out a test clean in one of the area’s most in need of cleaning. Needless to say the results were surprising to the customer and they booked us in right away to carry out a thier floor restoration including tile and grout floor cleaning, crack repairs and application of an impregnating seal.
Cleaning Process.
We arrived onsite at our client’s home and started off by protecting all sensitive areas before we started cleaning. We removed the dry soil by giving the area a thorough vacuum and then applied a stripping solution to remove any old and degraded seal using rotary machinery, followed by a fresh water rinse using our truck mounted system fully removing all residual solution
Crack Repair
once the floor was clean, we carried out the crack repairs needed, as a large crack around 6ft long had appeared around 10 years previously. The floor was then given a several days to dry and would be sealed on a return visit a few days later.
Application of an Impregnating Seal.
A few days after allowing the limestone floor plenty of time to fully dry out we returned to apply the seal. A Colour Enhancing variety of protective seal was chosen as the customer wanted to capture the depth of colour and to enhance the many fossils that were within the stone floor.
The Result
A floor to be proud of it looked amazing the crack was no longer visible and the floor looked as good as new, perfectly timed for the new kitchen décor which was due in the coming weeks. Aftercare advice and after care kit was given to ensure that this beautiful limestone kitchen floor will be as good as it can be for many years to come.
